Inline Admin Editting

adminedit

It made very little sense to me to create an admin section that you had to go to in order to make changes and edits to the main content.

Why jump through hoops if you don't have to?

Asp.net offers a lot of options for displaying content based on a user's roles, from the LoginView control to using the User.IsInRole

In the end I decided to utilize both.

When dealing with buttons and controls inside of ListViews, I utilized the LoginView control, when outside of any views I programmitcally set the visible attribute of the control or button in the code behind by making it equal to the boolean return of the User.IsInRole method.
